The reason I have begun, and will continue to publish parts of the Koran is because they originated from a poster produced by two students in India. The poster contained 24 Koranic verses and ended with the line "Why riots take place in this country." Needless to say the two students were arrested and sent to court. The wise intervention of the magistrate who acquitted them said:
...a close perusal of the Ayats [verses] shows that that the same are harmful and teach hatred, and are likely to create differences between Mohammedans on one hand and the remaining communities on the other.The full list of these verses can be found at the foot of the article
